Beautiful afternoon went for a snowshoe walk to our little cabin in the woods.  No sounds except for the birds chirping and one brave squirrel.  Excellent exercise I should do this more often.

Kearney Dog Sleds 2012

Spent Saturday night watching the 120 mile dog sled team go past the top of my driveway.  Bitterly cold but worth every moment.  Had phone veritical should have been horizontal will get it right next year

Just over a week to the first event of 2012 hosted by Kearney,the Dog Sled Races starting on Friday 10th Feb at 7pm with the Family Skate and a Bonfire.  Saturday 11th the races start at 10am with the 40 mile mushers and their dogs going out followed by the 4 milers and 6 milers.  Lots more taking place with Ski Joring and for the first time this year the Fat-Tire Mountain Bike Snow Race.  Re ...
